Brass Pressure Reducing Valve
YH-601 Brass Piston Pressure Reducing Valve
【Core Advantages】
YH-601 brass piston pressure reducing valve stabilizes fluctuating municipal water pressure to protect water heaters and pipeline fittings. Different from diaphragm PRVs, its piston structure resists sediment well for impurity-containing water. Forged HPb59-1 brass body delivers long service life and corrosion resistance, equipped with built-in stainless steel strainer to block dirt.
【Product Features】
• Nominal Pressure: 1.6 MPa
• Working Medium: Water, Non-causticity liquid.
• Working Temperature: 0°C - 80°C
• Parallel Pipe Thread to ISO228
【Applications】
Widely used in water supply pipelines and irrigation systems, effectively protecting equipment and devices from high-pressure damage.
Q: How to adjust outlet pressure?
A: Remove the top cap, turn screw clockwise to raise pressure, adjust 1/4 turn each time and test with pressure gauge.
Q: Why does pressure fluctuate?
A: Caused by clogged strainer or worn O-rings; clean strainer or replace piston seals.
【Important Notes】
Install the valve with the arrow on the body pointing in the direction of flow; reverse installation will prevent pressure regulation.
Always install shut-off valves upstream and downstream for servicing.
This valve is designed for cold and warm water only (≤80°C); do not use for steam, gas, or aggressive chemicals.
Flush the pipeline thoroughly before installation to remove welding slag, sealant residue, and debris.
Inspect and clean the strainer at least once a year, or more frequently in areas with poor water quality.
Brass Reducing Valve
This valve automatically reduces and stabilizes inlet pressure to a consistent, lower outlet pressure, protecting downstream equipment from damage.
