Q: What is soft sealing?
A: The wedge gate is fully wrapped by EPDM rubber to form watertight seal, different from slightly leaking metal-to-metal gate valves.
Q: Can it be used for flow throttling?
A: No, only full open/closed isolation; throttling damages rubber coating, use globe valves for flow regulation.

【Important Notes】
This valve is for on/off isolation only; do not use it for flow throttling.
For buried installation, use a valve box and extension spindle; ensure adequate drainage around the valve.
Install with sufficient clearance above the handwheel for operation and maintenance.
Do not exceed 80°C; not for steam, gas, oils, or chemically aggressive media.
Operate the valve at least once every 1–3 months to prevent stem seizure.
When closing, turn until firm contact is made; do not use a pipe extension for extra force.
